AEROMEXICO AIRLINES

Aeroméxico is Mexico’s flag carrier airline, headquartered in Mexico City. Aeromexico has regular flights to over 90 locations throughout Mexico, North, South, and Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Its major base and hub are in Mexico City, with subsidiary hubs in Guadalajara and Monterrey. The headquarters are in the Torre MAPFRE on Paseo de la Reforma, formerly in its building overlooking the Diana the Huntress Fountain, but moved down the street in 2017 to the Torre MAPFRE tower across from the Mexican Stock Exchange when the old building was demolished and replaced with a much taller, newer tower. 

Aeromexico has secondary hubs at Guadalajara International Airport (GDL), Hermosillo International Airport (HMO), and Monterrey International Airport (MTY). Aeroméxico Connect and Aeroméxico Express are the airline’s subsidiaries. 

AEROMEXICO AIRLINES HISTORY

Aeromexico has been awarded a 3-Star rating for the quality of its airport, onboard product, and personnel service. Product ratings cover seats, amenities, food and beverages, IFE, cleanliness, and so forth, while service ratings include both cabin and ground employees. 

Aeroméxico got the first of its DC-10-30 aircraft in 1974, as one of the program’s initial clients. 

Aeromexico operates flights to 17 destinations in the United States. 11 flights in Latin America, three in Europe, one in Canada, and two in Asia.

Aeroméxico collaborates closely with Delta Air Lines, which owns a portion of Aeroméxico and started in 2015. Its ambition is to purchase up to 49% of the company. 

Aeromexico was the first airline in the Americas to deploy a chatbot in September 2016. Allowing consumers to find, track, and book flights with a virtual assistant on Facebook Messenger. 

Aeromexico stated in September 2017 that it would be among the first firms worldwide to begin services on WhatsApp’s new Enterprise solution. Also, Mark the first time that large companies would be able to provide customer support to consumers at scale. 

AEROMEXICO AIRLINES IN-FLIGHT SERVICE

Aeromexico has three service levels: Premier, AM Plus, and Main Cabin. Long-haul aircraft have entertainment screens, and Wi-Fi is accessible on some routes. 

Aeromexico Premier Points do expire 24 months after the day they were acquired unless there is accrual activity going on in your account.
